Geocaching Memorial Park

It’s the world’s largest scavenger hunt combining the outdoors with technology! Join me for Geocaching in Memorial Park.

Not sure what the heck Geocaching is? That’s okay – come along for the hike and maybe you will find a new hobby is Geocaching.

Parking:
Parking is available for free in the lot in front of the rugby fields on N. Picnic Lane.

Finding the Group:
I will meet you guys in the parking lot for the Rugby Field – there will be an HTXO sign by the road.

The Event:
Once we all meet up – its time for our scavenger hunt. We will look at the geocaches nearby, pick one – or a few – to go look for, and head out!

We will probably be walking on the trails in the Memorial Park AND on paved paths.

What to Bring/Wear:
– Water
– Weather appropriate clothes
– Walking/Hiking shoes – this is a great opportunity to break in hiking boots. Make sure whatever you wear, you don’t mind getting muddy
