Tour de Houston Bike Ride
Tour de Houston is a fundraising bike ride that benefits Houston’s Reforestation Program. The ride will take place Sunday, March 19, 2017. This annual event offers Houstonians and visitors a unique way to view the city with bike routes winding through Houston’s historic neighborhoods, scenic districts and parks.
Tour de Houston is a fundraising bike ride that benefits Houston’s Reforestation Program. The ride will take place Sunday, March 19, 2017. This annual event offers Houstonians and visitors a unique way to view the city with bike routes winding through Houston’s historic neighborhoods, scenic districts and parks.
There are 3 route options: 20, 40 and 60-mile rides. All of the routes start and end at the same place.
I will be doing the 40M option, but I have never ridden more than 23miles! If you have a road or hybrid bike, you will be fine doing the 20 miles! It’s meant to be a fun event and not competitive. This event begins and ends in Hermann Square at City Hall located at 901 Bagby. Riders and volunteers will enjoy a post-ride party that includes live music, free food and beverages.
You register on your own and we will have a meeting spot for us to gather. Cost is $40 until March 17 and $45 after that.
