The Texas Renaissance Festival is the nation’s largest, most acclaimed Renaissance theme park. Open to the public every weekend in the fall, it’s an exciting exploration of yesteryear – thrill to the charge of knights jousting on their mighty steeds. Fall under the spell of the faery court. Laugh and be amazed at the clowns, jugglers, acrobats, and magicians performing on stages throughout the village, or watch with excitement as birds of prey soar through the air. Stay till dark and delight in the fire show and Royal Fireworks every festival evening!
Step back in time with us as we celebrate the opening weekend of the Texas Renaissance Festival with a Bavarian twist! 🎉 Slip into your lederhosen or dirndl, because the King and Queen have rolled out the barrels for a weekend packed with German-inspired festivities. From frothy brews to sizzling bratwursts, it’s a chance to raise a stein and experience a bit of Old Bavaria—Ren Fest style!
We’ll wander through the lively village, soak up the sights, catch the action of knights clashing in the joust, and maybe even cheer each other on in a bratwurst-eating contest! 🌭💪 There’s something for everyone, whether you’re into live music, lively games, or just people-watching in a magical medieval setting.
