Intro to Disc Golf

Join us in a beautiful Missouri City park to learn how to play Disc Golf! If you want to give it a try for the first time, or learn about the game and the rules, this is the event for you! This location is unlikely to be busy at this time, so it’s a perfect place to take our time learning and practicing.

Event includes:

– Brief history and background of the game
– Overview of Rules and Terminology
– Game Strategy and Etiquette
– Safety
– Techniques and Practice

Intro lesson will be taught by experienced instructor, Michael, and our very own member Omar Talavera will be on hand to help nail down your techniques so you are ready to play in his future group events!

Follow your GPS to Glen Lakes Lane, which will bear left onto Community Park Drive. Look for HTXO signs at the first parking lot on the right by the ball fields.

Need some lunch before disc golf? Look for and RSVP for a group lunch event nearby which will be prior to this event (posted separately!).
