Art Walk with BCO

Galveston’s visual arts culture continues to thrive as visitors browse through art galleries during the day and night. The Postoffice Street Arts & Entertainment District is nestled in the famous Strand National Historic Landmark District, only three short blocks from The Strand. This district is home to over 20 quaint galleries that feature various types of art from local, national and internationally recognized artists. While some galleries highlight oil and watercolor paintings, along with other traditional style art, others introduce visitors to contemporary designs such as metal and glass sculptures, as well as paperborne art.

Whichever type of artistic expression tickles the art enthusiast’s fancy, this historic “Street” will leave an art aficionado fulfilled.
