Evening Bike Ride along Buffalo Bayou

Join us for a gentle relaxing bike ride from Memorial park to Downtown and back. We will go through Memorial Park, on to Blossom Street, over to Memorial Dr around Buffalo Bayou Park to Downtown and return back. We will be on 3 low volume traffic streets and the rest of the ride on bike trails. This will be an 11-mile gentle pace bike ride and enjoy the fresh air.

Park and meet up at the parking lot or street near the softball fields on the south side of Memorial Dr. on N. Picnic Lane. Parking should not be a problem. (The address is N Picnic Ln, Houston, TX 77007; the address doesn’t have a number in front of it. )

There is a B-cycle rental station at this location if anyone needs to rent a bike. Here is information for rates. https://houston.bcycle.com/

After the bike ride, we can go grab a refreshing drink or dinner if anyone is interested.

Please bring the following:
• Bike or rent bike from B-Cycle Station
• Helmet
• Water – bring a hydration pack or bottle
• Front and Backlights for your bike
