PUBLIC – We’re joining the Lake Livingston Event lead by Park Rangers for a unique stargazing experience nt he park!
Rangers will show you some of the most popular constellations and tell the stories behind them. There may be an opportunity to view any visible planets or nebulae through a telescope. The visible stars and planets change a little each month, so you’ll see new things each time you come to visit!

What to bring:
– Blanket or chair
– Binoculars, optional
– Flashlight
Where to meet:
Peninsula near the park activity center
Event Time:
Arrive by 8:30pm to allow yourself to find the location, park, and meet the group before the starts start at 9pm.
NOTE: The park closes at 10pm. If you’re interested in spending the night, please reserve a camping spot here
Fees:
The event is free but you’ll need to pay the $5 per person park entrance fee if you don’t have a state park pass. Use the after-hours fee process.
