Tennis
Ever walk by a tennis court in the park, see people playing, and want to learn but have no clue where to start? Well this event is for you! I’m not saying you will leave and look like Serena Williams or Rafael Nadal on the tennis court, but you will at least know some of the basics.
Take ✌ on a Tennis event. No experience required, praying for better weather!
Ever walk by a tennis court in the park, see people playing, and want to learn but have no clue where to start? Well this event is for you! I’m not saying you will leave and look like Serena Williams or Rafael Nadal on the tennis court, but you will at least know some of the basics.
We will cover the basics, from how to hold the tennis racket, to forehand strokes (and maybe even backhand strokes), and some serving and “at the net”. No clue what I just said? No worries, we will go over it all at the event. And we will end with some really fun games!
Already know the basics? Come play!
Where to Meet
We have planned to meet at the Spotts Park tennis courts. I will have an HTXoutdoors sign near the courts.
How to get to the Tennis Courts
When you turn off of Waugh/Height BLVD toward Spotts Park, there is parking lot on the right hand side. You can park there, OR continue driving to the cul-de-sac and park along the street. The tennis courts are located near the cul-de-sac.
What to Bring
– Tennis Racket (if you have one!) HTXO will have 3 rackets for memvers to borrow/share.
– Tennis Shoes
– Water
– Sunprotection (hat/visor/sunscreen/etc.)
– Wear workout style clothes you are comfortable moving in
SPACE IS LIMITED. Due to the number of courts and space on each court, the event is limited to 7 people (plus the 1 event leader) for a total of 8 people. We will have more Tennis events if you can’t make this one.
