Come and hear more about our Summer Wind River Range camping and hiking Trip
Wyoming’s 80-mile-long Wind River Range forms part of the Continental Divide. Designated as a Wilderness Area, the Winds contain seven of the ten largest remaining glaciers in the continental U.S. and encompass more than 10,000 lakes. The highest peak in the range is Gannet Peak at 13,804 feet. (Learn more about the area at this link: https://www.visitpinedale.
We are looking at tentative dates during the week of July 27 – Aug. 2. Our plan is: we will be camping using it as a base for hiking, but will also have at least an overnight backpack to get to Cirque de Towers. Water is available along the way. Can fly in to Denver, Salt Lake City, or Jackson Hole.
