Hiking Lake Houston Wilderness Park

Let’s go hiking!

Meet at the parking lot circled in the photo in comments at 10 am. We can do somewhere between 6-10 miles depending on the group. We’ll take the AmeriTrail that runs along Peach Creek and make it at least to the swamp overlook. From there we can either hike back or complete the full 9.6 mile loop. Be sure to pack sunscreen and plenty of bug spray along with water and lunch/ snacks. We’ll stop at somewhere along the way to eat and take a break.
