Canceled: Guided Kayaking Tour

We have 2 single kayaks and 2 tandem kayaks for a 2 hour guided tour in Galveston!

What to bring:

Wear water shoes, old running shoes or other closed-toe shoes (to protect your feet from sharp shells) or (rain boots in the colder months) and water-friendly clothing. You will get wet. Wear sun protection like hat, sunglasses, sunscreen for day time tours.

Bring water or other beverage, snack, waterproof camera, and a change of clothes or a towel to sit on for your ride home since you may get wet.

Fee includes:

Kayak tour is typically $50! We are getting $20 off. Plus we’ll pay the tip for the kayak instructor guiding the tour.

Included: Kayaks, paddles, life vests, a dry box for your phone/ keys and instructions for your 2-hour rental.

THERE ARE NO RESTROOMS AT THE LAUNCH SITE. So, if you need to, go before you arrive.

Directions to public boat launch site: Launch site address: 1524 8 Mile Road, Galveston, TX 77554 Take Interstate 45 into Galveston. Take the 61st Street exit, turn right on 61st Street and proceed approx 2 miles until you reach Seawall Blvd. Turn right on Seawall Blvd (aka FM 3005) and proceed approx 4 miles until you reach 8 Mile Road. Turn right on 8 Mile Road (aka Anderson Ways Rd) and proceed approx 2 miles to the public boat launch site on the bay where we will meet you.
