Canceled for Rain – Hike @ SFA

Notice on Rain:

Last night, Stephen F Austin go hit with some pretty hard rain.  Even though it looks like the rain will be gone by the time we get there, the trails will still be wet.  SFA was closed for a  long time repairing trails after severe flooding.  Hiking on wet trails can cause them to erode and damage them again.  Therefore, in order help protect the park and trails, we will reschedule this hike.

Let’s head over to Stephen F Austin State Park.  We’ll hike about 6 miles give or take and check out all of the trails.  If you have a mountain bike and prefer to bike, bring it!

After we work up an appetite, we’ll head over to one of the local BBQ places since we’ll be out west.
