Lunch in Park

After the hike, let’s enjoy lunch in the park!  It’s a great way to unwind after the hike, relax in nature and meet more people who might not have been hiking next to you.

What to bring:

• Lunch or snacks to share
• Camping chair
• Sun protection
• An extra layer as you cool off after the hike

• Extra water or drink of choice with lunch (no glass, no styrofoam)

Fees: 

This is a free Event to attend but there is a $3 entrance fee per person. This is not a TX State Park so your park pass will not work.  The entrance fee is paid at the park when you arrive.

Plan some extra time so fully submerge yourself with nature. Check out the nature center and after lunch, take a short stroll to the creek or around the pond.
