Picture hiking adventures in Switzerland, conquering mountains and rivers in Chile, backpacking in the Grand Canyon, chilling at our Rock Out Weekend in the Hill Country, and exploring Texas with our exciting new weekend series. (These are just the trips we’re spilling to the press now—trust us, there’s more to come!)

Join us this evening to delve into the incredible travel adventures awaiting you in 2026. Meet the trip leaders, connect with fellow explorers, and forge fantastic new friendships. Simply sign up for the trips you fancy, grab your passport, pack your camera, and get ready to embark on adventures with BCO & HTXO!

Casual Presentation:  We have a projector and microphone so we can showcase all of the trips on the calendar in a casual presentation format.

Trip Tables:  We’ll have tables set up so you can talk with the event leader and sign up to get more information about the trips you’re interested in. Even if you think you can’t go on the trip this year, sign up as interested anyway, because some trips we do multiple years in a row.

Meet People:  It’s so much better when you get to meet the people you’re going to travel with before you travel.  Friendships are built, and then you can stay connected after you return.

Parking & Meet-Up:

Parking: There is a dedicated parking lot and plenty of street parking. Do not park at HCC.

Where to Meet:

Under the downstairs covered area at Axelrad.  There are heaters and plenty of covered space.  You won’t be able to miss us, but we’ll have BCO / HTXO signs out anyway.

No Dogs:  While we love our furry friends, it’s best to leave them at home for this one.  We’re going to have about 100 people moving around the area to sign up for events.

Bayou City Outdoors and HTXoutdoors are Houston’s premier social clubs for active adults! From hiking and biking to camping and kayaking, we bring people together for outdoor adventures and new friendships. Bayou City Outdoors welcomes all adults, while HTXoutdoors is perfect for young adults in their 20s and 30s who love to explore and socialize outdoors.
