Hermann Park is one of Houston’s most popular and largest parks with over 440 acres of wooded and cleared land and home to many animals including a large zoo.  Hermann park is located just south of Downtown near the Texas Medical Center and offers great views of the Medical Center area.

We will meet in the parking lot across from the statue of Sam Houston near the reflection pool and Japanese gardens.  Hermann park is home to the Houston Zoo, Reflection Pool, Japanese Gardens, Bayou, Golf Course, Garden Center.

Bring water, headlamp, good walking shoes.
