West Houston Terry Hershey Park Evening Walk

About the Event:
Join us for an evening walk on the beautiful paved and unpaved trails at Terry Hershey Park. We will get some exercise and fresh air in Houston’s jewels park on the west side.

Level of Difficulty:
We will walk 3-4 miles total at a brisk pace on and off-trail.

Meeting location, time, and parking:
We will meet at 5:50 pm. Please be ready to leave by 6 pm. Finish by 7:30 pm. We will meet at the parking lot for Terry Hershey Park trails on W. Sam Houston Pkwy feeder road, just south of Boheme Dr. It is located across from Ascension on the Bayou apartment building. It may be easier to use this address for navigation: 225 W. Sam Houston Pkwy. N, Houston, TX 77024. Please use Google Maps to navigate and for the best results.

How to find the Group:
Look for me on the bench in the parking lot.

After the Walk:

Join us at Niko Nikos afterward for dinner and drinks.

What to Bring:

Bring water and wear comfortable shoes.
– Water. The amount of water you need depends on various factors:
*How hydrated you are before the hike/jog
*The temperature
*How strenuous the hike is for you
– Sturdy Shoes – If it rained recently, wear something you don’t mind getting wet/muddy
– Non-cotton socks – keep your feet dry with a wool sock
– Light source
– First Aid

Fees:
The walk is free; bring some money if you join us for dinner afterward.

No, sorry, many events are dog-friendly, but not this time.
