Early May is a great time to camp at Garner State Park. Temperatures reaching in the 80’s during the day but still cool enough the camp at night (high 50’s, low 60’s).  The river will still be chilly but that will be refreshing after hiking.

Fees:

HTXoutdoors fee includes camp site and all food (Thursday – Dinner, Friday & Saturday – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, Sunday – Breakfast & Snacks for Car Ride).  If you have dietary restrictions, please enter them in the notes section when you checkout.

Arrival & Departure Information:

Arrive anytime you want on Thursday.  You can leave after work and arrive late so you have a full day on Friday.

Depart anytime on Sunday.  The pricing is the same even if you drive up Friday.  Let me know in the notes section which days because if other people want to fill the days you can’t go, we might be able to work something out.

Carpooling:

The park is about 4.5 hours from Houston, therefore, we have reserved 3 nights of campsites to make it worth your time to get out there.  Take Friday off of work and drive out Thursday so you have a full day of hiking on Friday!
